When we walked into the restaurant, there was an alarm going off behind the kitchen. There was a fair amount of disorganized frenetic activity in the kitchen, but none of it seemed to be related to the alarm; people were mostly ignoring it.

So when we got up to order, I asked what was going on.

It seems someone had driven a U-Haul through the drive in window. In the process, he sheared off the sprinklers attached to the roof above the driveway; a torrent of water came gushing out (and was still gushing out, in fact), while the fire alarm blared.

Oops.
